I discovered the Enneagram in my mid-twenties while living with three other single women in a house we named “The Foxden.” Late one night we took an online assessment and were stunned at the results. Not only were they accurate. They were eery. We understood each other in a new way that night, and it deepened our friendship for life.
It’s been over a decade since I took my first Enneagram assessment that typed me as an Eight. Exploring my type has been the key to directing my growth journey and supported me in building and maintaining strong friendships, networks, and teams.
To this day, my “Foxden” roommates and I still get together and talk life and Enneagram, because, for us, they are forever the same.

Prior to 2019, I had never heard the term emotional intelligence.
I listened to a trusted mentor and said yes to a four-month intensive EQ training, the sole focus being upleveling my emotional intelligence. I thought I was going to be reading books, instead, I spent four months turning myself inside out, receiving feedback that was hard to hear, and truths about myself that felt like freedom.
After my initial four-month program, I completed the masters level EQ training and coached and captained cohorts through the program. Students ask why my way of teaching the Enneagram lands so deeply. I credit my own EQ training for my self-awareness and ability to connect in every room I enter.
